Do Christians sin like sinners?
Yes, Christians do
sometimes commit sin but are not sinners, who refuses to
accept Christ Jesus as Lord. Once you give your life to
Christ Jesus by submitting to His Lordship and agrees in
your heart that He reigns and lives as King of glory
forever; the person is saved and receives the Holy Spirit in
their heart as seal, which confirms the individual as a
child of God. This means, the individual has passed from
death to life and no longer a sinner, but now born again by
the true Spirit of God. Meaning he or she is now a child of
God. No sinner can qualify as child of God, because the
nature of sin is of the adversary, the enemy of humanity,
and of all righteousness or right living (Good). Therefore
whoever accepts Jesus as Lord, now has the nature of God,
which produces love, truth, peace, health, wealth, good
family, honest friends, and many others. Notwithstanding,
there are circumstances where believers sin because they did
not follow the instruction of the Holy Spirit, but that of
the flesh. When such happens, it does not mean the believer
is now a sinner, but shows the attention to the Spirit of
God in that believer is weak. Therefore, when such mistake
happens and one notices it, we should immediately confess it
out with our mouth and ask for forgiveness in the name of
Christ Jesus to God the Father. You do not have to confess
to anyone or priest as God sees our heart and whenever,
anyone errs and truly ask for forgiveness, He respond
faithfully when the request is truthful. Therefore, does
that qualify the believer as a sinner? No. Sin is a nature
that means; you either submit to God in Christ Jesus or live
under the rule of the adversary. That is, you either accept
and live in sin or give your life to Christ and have the
nature and vision of God. There is no middle ground or
compromise. Your good work is no qualification. You are
either saved in the name of Christ Jesus or live as an
unbeliever. A Christian that sin has allowed the wrong
influence of the adversary to rule their lives, but still
have the nature of God, meaning still a Christian. The only
way to remedy this bad situation is to ask for forgiveness
and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us in all things. In
summary, any believer that sin is not a sinner, but becomes
one when he or she deliberately renounces Christ Jesus as
their Lord and Savior (God forbid!). Therefore, those that
love themselves and future generation always follow Christ
as their Lord.
